How long are TelePT by HOT sessions?
Our typical TelePT by HOT sessions are 30 to 60 minutes long. Our follow-up sessions are designed to last 30 minutes, whereas an evaluation performed on your TelePT by HOT platform is 60 minutes. If you wish to pursue TelePT by HOT in a self pay manner, you will have the option to select 60 minute appointments, which will be priced accordingly.
Can I only use part of a TelePT by HOT session?
Unfortunately, we do not offer anything less than 30 minutes. We want the best possible outcome for you! To ensure that you achieve this we will need to spend time educating you on your condition, provide you proper instruction, and guide you through exercise progressions.
How can this help me if I am not receiving any form of manual therapy?
Physical therapy is a process that can utilize both manual and non-manual techniques. Manual therapy in its own form acts to be an accelerator of your recovery, not the sole determinant. It is your ability to take ownership of your personal therapeutic experience and adhere to your home exercise program. TelePT by HOT is the perfect way to help you realize the power of your exercises.
Is TelePT by HOT covered by my insurance?
The answer is: It depends. At this time, some insurances have placed provisions within their regulations to cover TelePT by HOT services. You are not required to use insurance for this service. We have self-pay options available to allow for longer TelePT by HOT sessions if desired.
What can I expect during my TelePT by HOT session?
The Hands On Therapeutics TelePT by HOT service is designed to help you achieve an optimal outcome without coming into the physical therapy clinic. Each session will begin with a brief discussion about how you are doing and what progress you have made since your last session. This will also allow you to ask any questions that you may have. From there, our therapists will guide you through an examination to evaluate your progress. You can expect this to be followed by therapeutic exercise to advance you in your therapeutic process. After completion of all activities you may be re-evaluated to determine your response to the session. At the conclusion of the session you will receive a recap of what was performed and what is expected of you until your next session.
How much does TelePT by HOT cost, if I don’t use my insurance?
30 minute session: $60.00
60 minute session or New Patient Evaluation: $99.00
4 Session 30 minute Package Price: $220
4 Session 60 minute Package Price: $375
Can I just ask questions during my sessions?
Yes. Your session is your session and we, at Hands On Therapeutics, want you to receive the greatest value for your time. If you do not utilize all of your time and forego the remainder of your session, that time is lost and cannot be added to future sessions.
What if I don’t want to be on camera?
Unfortunately, if you do not consent to be on camera, your infrastructure for TelePT by HOT service cannot be effectively completed.
Can I do performance training online?
Yes. This is an option, however, this is not a service covered by insurance or a Health Saving Account. Performance training is a cash service only and further information on this can by clicking the Performance Training button below.
Is my personal information protected during a TelePT by HOT session?
Absolutely. At Hands On Therapeutics we prioritize your privacy and seek to always protect your personal information. As a result all TelePT by HOT services are completed on a HIPPA compliant platform.
